Frequently asked questions
The important things, explained clearly.
Why does the first scan take some time?
PareFrame analyzes the photos you authorize directly on your iPhone. A large library or photos stored in iCloud may take longer while Apple makes the needed image data available.
What is the difference between full and limited access?
Full access lets PareFrame scan your complete photo library. Limited access lets you choose which photos the app can see, and you can add or remove selected photos later through Apple’s permission controls.
Does PareFrame permanently erase my photos?
No. After you review and confirm a cleanup, Apple moves the approved photos to Recently Deleted. You can recover them there during Apple’s retention period.
Where are my photos and match results sent?
Nowhere. PareFrame performs its analysis on your device and does not upload your photos, thumbnails, or match results.
How do I change photo access?
Open iPhone Settings, select Apps, select PareFrame, and then select Photos. From there you can change between full, limited, and no access.
What should I include in a support email?
Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, PareFrame version, and a short description of what happened. You never need to attach private photos unless you choose to do so.
Using an early version? PareFrame requires iOS 17 or later. Make sure your iPhone and the app are up to date before contacting support.
